[Potential Bug] Missing Vessel Tracking Data for Multiple MMSIs #87

I am experiencing an issue where tracking information for several vessels is not being received, even though MarineTraffic shows that the data is being reported. This problem affects, but is not limited to, the following MMSIs:

248587000 636010457 Steps to Reproduce:

Search for MMSI 248587000 or 636010457 on MarineTraffic. Observe that MarineTraffic reports data for these vessels. Attempt to track the same vessels using aisstream. Notice the lack of received tracking data.

was last seen 6 days ago just south of India heading for UAE. There are not many stations in the area to receive it. Marinetraffic has a fallback on their satellite data in such cases. A bit expensive for free service like this one. Let us hope there will be more people volunteering to set up a receiver.

Maybe you experienced times where it was just not seen by any of the tree stations in the Area. If you look at https://aisstream.io/coverage the service is quite far from exhaustive in many parts of the world yet.

Also for 248587000 i dont receive data, but if there are a few ships around it i receive from some of them but not from that exact, why that can happen apparently it's not because there are not stations around.

Hello thank you for identifying this potential issue. Development is slow/delayed at this time for both features and enhancements of aisstream.io and though this appears to be a issue, it will likely not be fixed in the near term. Thank you for your understanding.

@aisstream is it somehow possible to to support you in this case? I would be willing to spend some time on this.

For me e.g. the ship 239806000 doesn't send any position information
