Suitability for ONT data? #34

Hi,

Is VTAM, like DADA2, dependend on the sequencing technique used and thus limited to Illumina sequencing? Or can it also be used for ONT sequencing data? I can't find it in the article, although I saw it was tested on MiSeq data.

Hi, We only used Illumina data for testing VTAM. I do not think it would work for ONT, due to the relatively high error rate of this sequencing.
