Notebook checks hang (GH actions) #104

Seems to get stuck after the first notebook is run. I cancelled a few that had been going for a long time (>30 mins).

The whole collection of these runs locally in under a minute.

Thank you Oliver. Yep was just about to create an issue. Yep runs locally here too. Will let GH take some time before we spend any time on it.
