My workflow consists of Inboxing tasks, assigning to projects (empty inbox), labeling & prioritizing tasks, and then working off those tasks.
TOD does the first two great (task quick-add, project empty). I previously did the third with "tod project label" or "tod filter label". For the last, I use predefined filters (tod list process -f [filter])
However it looks like there isn't a "tod project label" anymore. I tried "tod list label", however it's unintuitive as it requires specifying both 1) The exact filter to query and 2) The list of all labels to apply.
tod list label -l <list of labels to apply>
In addition there is no way to select by project (only a predefined filter) and I have to manually specify every individual label. I also couldn't find any documentation on it.
I've created the following issues for this:
730 - Executing "Tod task label" alone should work through the workflow
731 - I should be able to select "Project" instead of "filter"
732 - Should be able to use pre-defined labels (in addition to, or instead of, a list of labels)
733 - Create documentation on labeling
Please let me know how I can assist - I can definitely assist with #733 once this is feature complete (I'd love to expand docs overall), as well as anywhere else!
