how much is this used?
All the time, it's our(the I2P dev team) primary location for collaborating on development(We migrated away from mtn
finally a couple years ago now), which we automatically mirror to Github. It is also configured to be available automatically when I2P is installed. Beside the core i2p.i2p
project, several significant apps and sub-projects are hosted here, including browser extensions, file sharing tools, and the project website itself.
I had about 800 or so repositories on Github before I started running i2pgit.org and was already using Github pages to host my personal site so I still use both, but there are at least a few people who use it exclusively as well. I also let people create accounts and operate based on a TOS and privacy policy which I publish here: in the administration group, I do enforce the rules and ban accounts of illegal actors. My goal is to have a professionally run Git server for I2P users and the I2P community. I gradually enable more features as I discover how to apply them in I2P.
Congrats on the Twitter thing! :) Looking forward to more onion services in the future.
will not currently do, sorry.
Hi, I'm the admin of https://i2pgit.org which is the official upstream gitlab instance of the Invisible Internet Project(The Java one). This site also has gateways on Tor and on I2P. I have the .onion and .b32.i2p URL's in the footer on the web interface, and also have Onion-Location headers configured to attest that the .onion service is an alternative way of reaching https://i2pgit.org.
