Pinned and Notes improvements #251

Feature request:

hello again :) i cant seem to spot a way to add custom note groups. but aswell as that, i also think workspace specific pins and notes could be handy. and id like to see notes be scrollable when you hover them :) instead of needing to open the editor if its a long note.

to give you some contexnt for my use case. https://i.imgur.com/PsrzuYS so i have made a workspace for my stable diffusion and id like to have a couple of specific files for that workspace pinned so i can open them easily. and notes specific to it so for my different prompts ect :) global and workspace for both would be very cool, or perhaps you see this as an entirely new feature, whatever really im sure youll think of something better than i could.

oh and another tiny little thing ;) "show workspace title in window toolbar" but for the tab aswell ?

Hmm, I didn't think about making notes workspace specific. That's a good idea! This way you could create a completly isolated envronment for each project

As for the tab title. What you would like to see there? Just repeat the name of the currently selected tab?

And, as for the note groups, you cannot add custom groups just yet. However there's a quick hack you could do to add a note group.

  1. Open the "App directory" fron the settings page

  1. Open the notes.json file

  2. Change the name group to something else

  1. Save the file

  2. Go to Sigma and reload the window with Ctrl + Shift + R

i actually tried editing the notes.json already, it results in it just being added to ungrouped notes for myself. https://i.imgur.com/rQOjgp2.png and i did make sure to reload correctly but no luck :)

as for the tab name, maybe i was wrong. i was looking at the tab name from the notes area and it was just displaying "1" "2" "3" i thought it might be nice for it to display the tab name. however, i now realise then you would end up with the actual file explorer having duplicate info. https://i.imgur.com/U6XUjSZ.png https://i.imgur.com/I4wjMzA.png

Ahh, that's a bummer, it looks like it's not possible then, at the moment

i was looking at the tab name from the notes area and it was just displaying "1" "2" "3"

I see! Well, it sounds resonable to display the tab name there when you are outside the navigator page
