Oleg, I believe you. Unfortunately, I can't support all available Display Managers on all available GNU systems. Just because until now I was alone who should care about everything in this project.

Yes, notifications.py is quite unstable. In fact, I have nothing against to rewrite it... Let's talk about it next weekend on FOSDEM.
