I did a research for trade balance and trade deficit in the UK. I`ve found your data at atlas.media: https://atlas.media.mit.edu/de/profile/country/gbr/
But I also found some data from the national statistics office from the Goverment of UK. And I believe your nice looking charts have a little failure.
Your website print 374 Billion US$ of exports from UK to the world. The UK statistics office says nearly 540 Billion on all exports. Please take a look: https://www.ons.gov.uk/businessindustryandtrade/internationaltrade/articles/whodoestheuktradewith/2017-02-21
Please verify your data also against: https://fullfact.org/europe/uk-eu-trade/
It seems your UK export data shows the value of imports from all other EU-countries. So, can your verify your data?
