[Resurrection mod] default fallout 2 screens and startup

When I try to run fallout2-ce.exe withing the Resurrection folder it just loads the default loading pictures from Fallout2, although it loads the appropriate movies from the modification correctly. Characters on a "new game" screen also seems like they are from Fallout 2, and when i try to start a new game - the tactical map is just black and the GUI panel with weapons is a gray colored rectangle.

I had the same problem. Here is how i fixed it: 1.- Update DirectX 2.- Run as administrator fores_config.exe 3.-Change Mode to "DirectX 9 -sfall"
