Scrum Update May 25th 2018 (First Issue) (Kyo) #1

  1. What did you work on this past iteration?

For the post iteration (2 weeks), I have mostly working on the proposal of the project as well as the prototype of the project

  1. What were any major issue/challenges you ran into?

Planning and creating the prototype is one of the most challenging task that we have to face as we are not sure how to logically arrange the pages such that information is presented in a user friendly fashion.

  1. What do you plan to work on for this upcoming iteration (2 weeks)? My personal plan is to work on 3 of the 10 pages of each publicly trade company's web page we intend to list.

Specifically, i will try to ensure all the front end of the individual company stock webpage is appropriate created. With the appropriate features such as the name and the drop down menu

I discussed with my team members on the project and came up with the goals and requirements, which should be accomplished by the summer term 2.

  1. What were any major issue/challenges you ran into?

The biggest challenge was to design a UI that is easy to use and not overcomplicated.

  1. What do you plan to work on for this upcoming iteration (2 weeks)?

I will set up our project using Meteor and React.js. And I will try to draw charts that can display stock prices using D3.js.

  1. What did you work on this past iteration? I helped with brainstorming on the proposal of the project for this past iteration.

  2. What were any major issue/challenges you ran into?
    The major issue that I ran into is to come up with ideas of how to design an user friendly interface for our website.

  3. What do you plan to work on for this upcoming iteration (2 weeks)? For this upcoming iteration, I will start working on the main webpage that will have all the links to each publicly trade company's web page (all the subpages) we intend to list.
