I started this with the intention of adding support for 'typescriptreact' but ended up almost rewriting the entire extension in order to add other features:

Support for multicursor selection
Support for adding new languages through configuration
Proper positioning of the selection after inserting the interpolation (makes it behave the same way other surround operations do in VSCode).
Add Tests
Other general improvements to the codebase
