Project board - https://github.com/alphagov/verify-local-patterns/projects/1 ||||| This is a prototype of some content that will be included in the GOV.UK Service Toolkit about the best practice for councils to deliver two services - parking permits and concessionary travel. The repo also includes a working prototype of both services which follows the guidance, as delivered by the fictional council of Argleton.

@EUzkuraityte @sanjaypoyzer suggest we reduce the links to 3 or 4, as per my content review. How will we determine the most relevant?

@lizziebruce Agreed on reducing.

The two life events associated with this service are Moving house and Buying a new car. I think we can use that to filter the list down. There aren't any services specifically related to moving, or really to buying a car, but there are a few relevant to driving:

Another consideration is numbers of users for each service. Looking at internally held Verify data, Self-assessment is by far and away the most popular service currently integrated, by a very high margin. For that reason, I think we should definitely have that one.

To bring the list back down to 4, I reckon we remove "renew your short-term medical driving license" as it's the least used. So that leaves us with:

I think it would still be good to get rid of another to get this down to 3. Company car tax has more double the users of medical conditions. It's arguable that Company car tax is more relevant to people applying for a business permit rather than a residents, but I don't think it's hard to imagine someone getting a resident's parking permit for their company car.

For that reason, I'd suggest we reduce the list down to:

@sanjaypoyzer happy with that. since this is a simple coding edit I'll create a pull request for it.
