Request for Early Motion Controller Support (Wiimote and PlayStation Move) #120

Hi Mr. Developers and Contributors,

I am writing to request the addition of support for early motion controllers such as the Wiimote and PlayStation Move. Currently, I am using Apple Vision Pro with two Switch Joy-Con controllers, but they frequently lose tracking and are not providing a reliable experience for some VR games that needs a good tracing such as Beat Sabar.

Firstly, I want to make it clear that I do not want anyone to attack or despise me based on my nationality, race, the games I play, or my religious beliefs. As a user, I hope we can focus on solving the issues with the software to make it better, rather than engaging in meaningless attacks and disdain that can negatively affect the community atmosphere of the software. I have previously been attacked by a group because I used a Genshin Impact avatar when submitting an issue. I hope everyone can refrain from such attacks. If it is not possible to implement this request, please kindly and calmly say "sorry it can not be" instead of continuous attacks. Thank you for your cooperation.

Specifically, I am experiencing:

Frequent loss of tracking with Joy-Con controllers. Inconsistent and unreliable input, making gameplay frustrating. Adding support for Wiimote and PlayStation Move controllers would greatly enhance the experience for users like myself who enjoy some VR games that rely on a good tracing ability. These controllers are known for their precision and reliability, which would provide a much better experience compared to the Joy-Cons.

Thank you for considering this request. I appreciate the hard work that has gone into ALVR and look forward to potential improvements. And I hope that one day when there is full of commercial apps on the world and all people remeber that there is an open sourced app called ALVR and it supports Apple Vision Pro, it can helps the gamers who bought Apple Vision Pro to keep playing their beloved SteamVR games!

Best regards, by me
