There's a lot of value in automated testing for things like preventing regressions and documenting code usage. Consider if we should add automate tests such as
[ ] component tests
[x] unit tests
[ ] screenshot tests
[x] API tests
[ ] system tests
Additional context
It may be entirely possible that it still isn't worth adding some of these tests yet.
