See below for Cody’s idea, I think it would be a productivity calculator, leverage the calculator in the trip planner in a pop-up format, or easily consumed elsewhere like on vta.org, could be independent of the trip planner as well.

Yes, and then layering on top of it another equation that converts that Productive Time (maybe 5 days per week for a year) into fun things like:
Emails read & responded to (avg X mins each)
Scarves knitted (avg X hrs each)
Books read (avg X hrs each)
Popular podcasts listened to (30 mins each)
I could help come up with those stats (wouldn't have to be precise).
Cheers,

Subject: Fwd: Productivity calculator?
Would we be able to create some kind of interactive calculator using the OTP where people can plug-in their transit trip and it tells them, based on the length and duration calculated from GTFS, how many emails they could get through, how many scarves they could knit, etc?
There seems to be some kind of "duration" calculator in the OTP; this would be a fun twist on that, with assumptions translating the duration into other "units of measurement."
This would be one element of a broader marketing communications campaign we're brainstorming. No rush, just trying to understand what's possible.
