Without parenthesis, sendSettings doesn't work properly #15

Sorry,I hadn't realized before. sendSettings was sending just 4 ED vars of the 2nd slot.

@amowry maybe it is related to what you mentioned me earlier?

Thanks-- this doesn't fix the other issue for me but I'll email you about that.
