Description:

Dear Amazon SP-API Support Team,

I am writing to seek clarification and resolution regarding an ongoing issue we've encountered with the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API). We are a private enterprise and the developers' access to SP-API is strictly managed through our company's internal processes. Our requests for enabling direct shipping capabilities have been consistently declined, and the reasons provided have been unclear, particularly in relation to PII concerns.

Background: Each of our applications for direct shipping has been met with rejection. Our most recent application was rejected with the following message:

Incident Impact: Without access to the necessary SP-API roles, we are unable to implement direct shipping for our customers, which significantly impacts our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. It also puts us at a competitive disadvantage in the marketplace.

Required Action:

We request a detailed explanation as to why our applications have been identified as identical to previous submissions and how this relates to PII compliance concerns. We seek guidance on the specific changes needed in our application to meet the compliance requirements for the SP-API roles. We would appreciate a review of our case by a senior API access manager to ensure that all the relevant factors and new submissions are being considered fairly. Supporting Information:
