@dinkumoil You asked or commented about outdated regex engine , so maybe you need new regex features? You can test them from my TRegexpr fork. Or I can make CudaText beta. In TRegexpr repo we have demo_dlg (afair, this name).

What's new - in file history.txt in repo.
