Error: EPERM: operation not permitted, symlink 'C:\Users\user\Documents\thesis\.latex\main.synctex.gz' -> 'C:\Users\user\Documents\thesis\main.synctex.gz'

when run on windows 10 x64 with atom 1.11.2 and latex-plus 0.9.1

So I have to run atom as administrator to make it work?

Unfortunately symlinking requires administrator access to be created on windows. Perhaps this package should not symlink the synctex.gz. Remembering to run as administrator sounds is inconvenient.
