strange behavior with including pdfs on OSX #80

hi all, I am using latex-plus on OSX and when I include figures which are pdfs, I will often have problems with the pdfs being included with excess whitespace. I believe this is a latex-plus error since this does not happen when I use texshop. Do you have any insight how or why this might be happening?

Closing this because I'm stupid and it's a problem with the PDF viewer, not the package. Sorry.
