Player issue

Steps to reproduce

While playing a downloaded episode on more than 1x speed after some time the player starts to lag and works really really slow

Expected behavior

If I tap anywhere on the screen the player should react instantly

Actual behavior

But the player takes 10 seconds for it to pop up after tapping the screen once

Try using yuv420p in the debanding section or switching from hw to sw or hw+

I've been having this issue as well for months. Although it's strange. I always watch @ 1.25x speed, but it doesn't always do this. There will be weeks where it works perfectly with no problem. Then randomly for no reason I've been able to figure out yet, it will start doing this again. I tried yuv420p as suggested but it doesn't look like it's making a difference. Trying to use MPV as the external player now. I'll try remember to post back here if I find a solution or think of anything else relevant.
