Hi @antiboredom @vwls

Curious if you have worked on this project or had a means of monitoring its functionality since posting. Would love to put into use in support of the Black Lives Matter movement with the goal of abolishing prisons.

Hi! this project is VERY out of date at this point -- both the scraping code and the faxing code would need a rewrite to get it working again. If you are interested in bring it back online I'd be very happy to help out in any way that I can.

Thanks @antiboredom, strategizing with a couple of developer friends on ways to be of use right now. My background is mostly in Javascript and web dev so the overhead in getting this running is hard for me to calculate ATM, but I am super interested in exploring further.

Also– just found out you worked on the bail bloc project w my friend Maya! If you are working on any other active projects now with the object of fucking white supremacy– pls LMK! Definitely trying to prioritize work based on positive impact and utility.

@vwls @antiboredom we are floating a couple of ideas around right now including adapting those fancy auto templated email links people have been circulating to prompt users to do some research and craft their own responses to politicians. Another project in progress is a tutorial on setting up free hosting on gh-pages for HTML beginners, and a boilerplate website that can use Google Sheets as a CMS.

Creating a google doc for the projects– I can add you both if you want to discuss further :)
