label:bug .desktop fails to launch aplication #64

The .desktop file doesn't launch waypaper , however i can run it from the terminal . This is the error log :

./.local/share/applications/waypaper.desktop
./.local/share/applications/waypaper.desktop: line 1: [Desktop: command not found
./.local/share/applications/waypaper.desktop: line 8: wallpaper: command not found
./.local/share/applications/waypaper.desktop: line 9: GTK: command not found
./.local/share/applications/waypaper.desktop: line 9: DesktopSettings: command not found
./.local/share/applications/waypaper.desktop: line 10: wallpaper: command not found

Thank you for reporting. How did you install the application? AUR or pip or nix?

pip on hyrpland

Could you try the AUR version? Sorry, it wasn't me who implemented and tested the desktop entry, so I'm not sure how it's supposed to work...
