This plugin is a great start! Just wanna toss in a few "critical" feature tickets. :)

First, the minimap needs to scroll in sync with the main editor, highlighting the visible region.

Thanks for the feedbacks, this should work tho (I updated the README with the list of features) I'll try to reproduce your issue.
