What steps will reproduce the problem?
I have the impression that this is a community, but my way of interacting
with it (or even creating my profile) is secondary. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The link, "List your favorite causes on your profile page," and the next
one, "Discuss how to advance a cause," to my mind are the beginnings of a
community.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version beta - OS and browser unknown

Thumbnail graphics are poor quality (viewing site on IE on Windows) I'd like to 
see a
better explanation of what the site is about. Social cause? Home page graphics 
and
text don't really reflect that well. I like your box What's Your Cause and 
subhead:
Social media and you, But there's not much that would entice me to join at this 
point.

4- Marketing OM to Individuals not just 'Causes' or Non-Profits we should make 
sure
that when defining 'causes' it does not exclude individuals. we want people who 
are
not a part of a non-profit to want to use ourmedia too. but at the same time
discourage youtube-y type crazy media. we want to attract people who are about 
change
in the world. action.
