Upload form on other areas of site #67

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

Need the ability to add the upload form to other areas of a site. In my case
adding an upload form near the activity stream similar to Facebook.

Tried adding bp_album_screen_upload_content()

Form shows alright but not uploading. Also I can think of other uses, front
page form etc.

Cheers,
modemlooper

Yes, a lot of people need this feature. It's already in the work queue, here's
the tracker entry: https://www.pivotaltracker.com/story/show/7553697

Trying to add this to BP-Album+ would be an exercise in frustration ...the
codebase is a disaster! We started from scratch for BP-Media 1.9.

=========

Hey!...you do Wordpress/Buddypress templates, right?...

We're getting ready to completely refactor BP-Media's template architecture in
a couple of weeks. ...and we'd appreciate any feedback/suggestions you can give
us on how we can improve it and make it easier for designers like yourself.

Thanks!

What changes were you thinking of making to the templates?

Completely refactoring them from scratch, on the code side, CSS site, and
probably their overall layout. (This is for BP-Media 0.1.9, not for BP-Album+).
Also moving a lot of (simple) PHP code out into the templates, so designers
have absolute control over how things look.
