Meta/Work Proposal: AragonCoop Organizational Stack Design & Deployment

The AGP-40 deliverable that you’d like to work on

All of them: The Construction of an Organizational Stack for AragonCoop's is a key enabler as setting a common framework for the seamless achievement of all of the mentioned deliverables assuring efforts alignment in creating collaborative value at the same time.

The steps you’re going to take to move us towards shipping that deliverable

The below drafted Organizational Stack propose a common base for guaranteeing sense of existence, sustainability, a governance framework and the mechanism to align the efforts of the Coop members for the value generation to the Coop itself as well to the Aragon Network.

Looking to generate a real grassroots collective effort in generating the definition of the Aragon Coop boundaries, reason to exist, and vision about the Coop ultimate goal, the methodology to be used to deliver the desired outcome will be:

• Interviewing Phase: Two weeks will be used to gather members feedback and insights about their individual visions and feelings about the Cooperative as well as determining and measure each individual engagement to the Coop. To book an slot to have an interview, you can go to this calendar and chose the timing you prefer the most.
• Insights classification and processing : One Week to analyze and process all qualitative and quantitative feedback gathered in the previous phase. Ad-hoc interviewing sessions can be planned for the members that haven'd done it yet at this point.
• Outcome presentation and discussion: Starting the fourth week of labors, a presentation will be held, and the Coop will be called to an online open assembly. Please start choosing you preferred time in this doodle
• Decision Taking: After the Open Assembly is conclude, Coop members will be called to take crucial decisions about the future of the Aragon Coop. e.g.
  • Approval of the Organizational Stack
  • Ratification of the current Workflow or approval of a new one (following the proper processes).
  • Selection of a new membership body.
  • Dissolution of the Aragon Coop & giving back the resources to the Aragon Network.

The amount of time you think that’s going to take

From June 17th I'll be committed to engage between 10 & 25 hours per week for the 4-5 weeks that this whole process is going to take.

~This Work proposal will be submitted to vote following the current approved Workflow proposal, although I'll be committed to deliver this work in any case, even if the AragonCoop won't accept to reward this deliverable.~ After seeing the last of quorum of votes #27, #28, #29 and realize that Coop member are not engaged into the current process, this proposal won't be submitted to vote, still, I'm commiting to execute it as proposed initially.

Reading through this proposal, it sounds like you want to define new objectives for the Aragon Cooperative (not AGP-40), create a new governance process (not the temp repo), and update the membership pool (not the current member group). You don't currently have a plan for how to do that, but you want to be compensated for time spent drafting that process. Is that correct?

Not enterely, the plan is about integration! An assesment of what we have, what we want to be, and what we shall deliver.

This proposal can, shall and will work collaborating and alligmened with the current Coop objectives and proposals.

Wouldn't it be better if coop members had write permissions for coop repos (decentralization and all that:)? I thought that was the plan anyhow...

Hi @burrrata - hope you don't mind me saying - this seems a bit aggressive in tone (as have several of your recent responses on here if I'm honest). I'm not sure how this is against agp-40. We desperately require something 'other' than the 'temp' proposal, which clearly isn't working (& perhaps there's a clear clue in its name as to that methods proposed and perceived longevity). Updating membership is the key issue we face (& I've been saying this for weeks now), personally I wont support anything else until this key issue is resolved.

I'm preparing a set of questions that I would be publishing soon (probably during the day). My hope is that people will be coming for a face to face individual and/or working interview. As long as participants agree, all will be recorded and published.
