• Doesn't need used_specific_object as far as I can tell.
• influenced_by has the same usage -- another conceptual thing that influenced the creation of the created resource.

I think the two representation are in harmony completely. I added in the difficulty of actor role.

I agree that we don't need specific object or technique, it doesn't make sense with regards to an information object. I wonder if we would need a branch at some time similar to what is suggested in FRBRoo which is the moment of manifesting a great idea on a unique physical thing: the pennign of the constitution where we want to document in one the intellectual and physical creation and link them?

Why did we decided that an information object can only be influenced by an information object? Could it not be influenced by an event (Anne Frank's work was influcenced by the Holocaust?)
