Excuse my ignorance about the underlying technology of how nanopores work and are fabricated, but I was playing around with the squiggle-plot functionality and saw that the squiggle plots are grouped by facet category. Searching around and skimming Wikipedia, some papers on nanopore fabrication, and the paper for poretools to try and understand exactly what facets are and what that might mean, I gathered that facets have some relationship to the pore design but I'm still at a loss for how to interpret the different categories.
Any chance someone could give me a concise explanation to explain what the different categories mean, or a link/reference to paper with some good examples?
