Update about making PR in main branch

Is your feature request related to a problem/unavailable functionality? Please describe.

Earlier, we made a PR on updating the readme and contributing to the development branch, but now that we have to check the workflows present, all PRs should be made in the main only.

Proposed Solution

Update the readme and contributing guide according to the above issue.
