Issues with starting window position #700

Hello,

In Mplayer, once you open a video, the starting initial position is the center 
of the screen. However, in GNOME-Mplayer, the starting initial position is the 
upper left corner, which is fairly uncomfortable. 

If I choose in the menu the option of "remember window location"... the problem 
is that the command also remembers the size. 

Is there a way to change the default behavior of starting window location?
