Error when trying to connect to SFTP server #350

As of about a a week ago, I have been unable to connect to my windows server running Bitvise SSH Server 9.25 from Notepad++ using the NPPFTP plugin from Ubuntu 22.04 as a snap. Before that time it used to work fine with no issues. My other SFTP clients can connect to that server with no issues.

The only thing I have updated is Notepad++

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Expected Behavior

It should connect to the server.

Actual Behavior

[NppFTP] Everything initialized Connecting [SFTP] Connection failed : PRNG error Unable to connect Disconnected

Maybe this one https://groups.google.com/g/comp.security.ssh/c/sc0rfhyJT_0 is leading to the right direction regarding access to the device for the random numbers. Apart from that a known issue would be #348 but that seems to be a different problem here.

Thanks, I'll take a look.

I had the same issue, using it on Ubuntu. After installing the version 0.30.15, FTPS was working.
