Nexus 4 with Android 4.4.2 with same issue. Dash Clock is nowhere to be found.

DashClock app stucks in installing state on my Nexus 5, 4.4.2, ART runtime. I
can use it as a daydream, but it never appears as a lock widget, neither as a
simple widget.
On my Nexus 7, 4.4.2, Dalvik, everything is just fine.
May be the ART is the issue?

No, I'm not using ART.

Same problem for me too on Nexus 5 (Android 4.4.2 Dalvik). And also when
installing DashClock from Google play, it stucks saying that it is installing,
but after stopping process and reopening Google play, it shows up as installed
in My applications list.

Had this problem as well, and have been monitoring this thread for a couple
weeks. Just noticed the Dashclock "network info" extension had been updated, so
I checked my lock screen choices, and Dashclock was now listed there.

Unfortunately im experiencing the same issue and i would greatly appreciate it
if someone managed to find a solution or if the problem simply lies in the hand
of the developer. Its a shame that very few apps seem correctly tweaked for
4.4.2 and KitKat in general :(

I had this same issue. I'm on a Nexus 5 with KitKat 4.2.2 I installed the
app on the google play store on chrome instead of through the phone. It would
not show up on the list of widgets for my lock screen nor would the widget
appear in my list of widgets. Only the dashclock settings widget was there.
FIX: I went into the google play app on my phone and saw that it was hung up
on installing still. I rebooted the phone. Uninstalled the app. Reboot again.
Installed the app from the google play app on my phone. I also turned wifi
off, don't know if that is important. The app installed without any hang-ups
and now works fine. Hope this helps!

I have reinstalled the widget from Play tore, and it appears in my widgets.
What I don't see is "on Android 4.4 devices, please check "Enable widgets" in
security settings " This doesn't exist in 4.4. However in settings: my device:
lockscreen; there is Lock screen widgets, but no security settings to change. I
hae put the widget on one of my home page, I have set preferences for it, but
it does not show up on a lock screen. As well, re:instructions: "Then, simply
swipe to the left-most page of your lock screen and touch the "+" icon.
Finally, select "DashClock" to customize and add the widget. You can make this
the primary lock screen widget, replacing the default clock, by first
touching-and-holding it and then dragging it horizontally to the very rightmost
position." I don't get it, maybe my unfamiliarity with widgets, but ther is not
a plus sign on my lock screen on the S4. Sounds like a great ides, but unable
to implement it. any ideas?

Anyone having issues with it not appearing. Install the widget to Internal
Storage. I had mine installed on extSD and it wouldn't appear on the list.

I have not experienced this issue since the latest Android updates, but when I
had it - the workaround in response #11 was sufficient to resolve my problems.
Also, for enabling the widgets you can have a look here -
