this PR is just to mark a quick port to os_unfair_lock not sure what the implications are, as backwards compatibility

Also can confirm that this PR works without issue. 👍 And its compatible back to 10.12 which is super old, so I think safe to merge. @astellato @bangnoise @danomatika
