It seems that you already faced something similar here #10 ... but still, I find this really confusing. When I land to a GitHub repository, I just read the installation doc on the master branch and use it...

@Oliboy50 thanks for your PR

with #29, the README does not indicates a version anymore (it uses composer require that will require the last stable version). It will prevent further issues like this.
