Feature request: add tkiptun-ng #56

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

It noticed that wifite supports quite a few attacks for WEP, but there is only
a brute force attack possible for WPA.
WPA-TKIP does have a security flaw that can be exploited by using the aircrack
tool named tkiptun-ng, which makes it possible to crack wpa-tkip within minutes.
Would it be an idea to add tkiptun-ng into wifite as an extra attack option for
WPA?

Last I checked, tkiptun-ng only allows packets to be injected into the network,
which doesn't help with cracking the passphrase.

However, I haven't looked into tkiptun-ng in a long time. I will gladly try to
add a tkiptun-ng option into Wifite if you can show me a reliable way to crack
WPA-TKIP using the tool. My router supports TKIP and QoS, so any method you
find should work for me (and therefore be simple to implement into Wifite).

Ah never mind, i have found nothing concrete that points to people having
actually been able to use tkiptun-ng succesfully.
Also this topic kind of confirms that:

I did find a version of tkiptun-ng that should to be able to work even without
the QOS requirement, but again no actual results unfortunately:

That's too bad. Thanks for researching, though!

If you DO find a method to use tkiptun-ng and it works, feel free to submit
another ticket and I'll add it to Wifite ASAP!
