What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Added Arial Unicode MS font to ireport designer. Set the font as Arial
Unicode MS to English as well as Marathi fields in ireport designer.
2. Including jasper report Libraries as well as indic jasper libraries in the
class path.
3. Including OpenOffice Libraries in the class path.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The font Arial Unicode MS and Size given in jasper report fields should be
shown correctly in pdf. The Marathi content is shown with default font Tahoma
with size 12 for all the Marathi fields in the jasper report where as English
fields are shown with Arial Unicode MS font in the generated PDF.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Java. jdk1.6.0_15, jboss-5.1.0.GA
included jars - in classpath :
jasperreports-3.7.5.jar,jasperreports-fonts-3.7.5.jar,jurt.jar,
jut.jar,officebean.jar,ridl.jar ,unoil.jar , indic-jasper classes
OS - Windows XP Professional, Also in Linux (OOO version 3.3 on Windows and 3.2
on Linux.) . Open Office path is set in both environments.
Please provide any additional information below.
We need to display marathi contents, labels as well as data from db along with
English contents in the same report. The indic jasper is used for resolving
issues with Marathi contents in JRPDFExporter.
The issues are:
1. The marathi field is not stretching and data is cut off.
2.In some cases the entire line is missing from the generated pdf.
3. The font and size is not rendering correctly for Marathi fields
