Enabling application signals is straightforward for EKS with observability add-on https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonCloudWatch/latest/monitoring/CloudWatch-Application-Signals-Enable-EKS-Console.html

Need a better automated way for non-EKS (ECS, EC2 and K8s) experience to onboard application signals https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonCloudWatch/latest/monitoring/CloudWatch-Application-Signals-Enable-Other.html
