What would you like to be added: Ability for EKS Anywhere to deploy on anything that is SSH accessible

Why is this needed: This is to support both cloud images and any virtual machines that are created on any hypervisor i.e. oVirt or HyperV

Thank you for the suggestion @dhaanpaa-lab0 . We understand that adding support for generic hosts can be useful to some people, we however don't have any current plans to add that. Eks anywhere has plans to offer support for bare metal in 2022. To track interested people in this particular issue I've added a thumbs up above.
