[Terokar Forest - Skettis] Time-Lost Skettis High Priests turn friendly on /reload #20413

Bug Triager Notes:

Original CC Report: https://github.com/chromiecraft/chromiecraft/issues/7476#issue-2630453979

What client do you play on?

enGB

Faction

Alliance

Content Phase:

Current Behaviour

(Sorry for the first few quick seconds), but Time-Lost Skettis High Priests turn friendly and unattackable when using /reload command to refresh UI. You can see this in the video when I try to attack them, they are "invalid targets". Logging out fixes this.

Expected Blizzlike Behaviour

No NPC in the game should change its state of hostility when refreshing UI.

Source

I do not have a source for this.

Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. Go to Skettis
  2. Acquire Elixir of Shadows to see the Time-Lost Skettis High Priests
  3. Observe you can normally attack them
  4. Use /reload to refresh your UI
  5. Observe now that the NPCs have turned friendly

Extra Notes

Similar things happen (or have happened) in the Alterac Valley when you are playing as the opposite faction compared to your real one. This has made it so you can not attack the bosses or NPC the enemy has as you're now allied to them, even though they still can hit you. ̶T̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶m̶a̶k̶e̶s̶ ̶m̶e̶ ̶b̶e̶l̶i̶e̶v̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶m̶i̶g̶h̶t̶ ̶a̶s̶ ̶w̶e̶l̶l̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶C̶C̶ ̶s̶p̶e̶c̶i̶f̶i̶c̶ ̶i̶s̶s̶u̶e̶.̶

This makes me believe this might as well be a CC specific issue.

Nope, can reproduce the bug on my local.

I forgot to remove that part from the original report.
