Funny issue with quadhd #164

I have a quadhd that gets a clean signal but after a few hours it seems to be unable to tune in the muxes but simply disconnecting and reconnecting the coax cable to the card seems to fix the issue

q1. Is tuner overheating? q2. Is there a power saver active? q3. Is there any external amplifier/protector?

  3. i had it running through an external set top box which seems to give a clearer signal but it is the same symptoms either way

without running it through the external set top box it is just continuous continuity errors and i never get an image
