No v3 support in

patduckless commented 1 month ago

I have the same device. I would like to see it included in the supported hardware.

I have the same issue here. Is there a chance to include the support of 461e V3 Hardware?

psstoyanov commented 1 month ago

Same issue for me - I've bought the device specifically for it's Linux support but it doesn't work.

I didn't expect a revision to cause scenes 😕

Update Hauppauge support team rep will replace my stick with an older revision! Won't be an option for everyone but it's pleasant surprise!

Ironically they are selling that same device now as both the PCTV 461e and the WinTV-Nova-S2. The packaging is different but it is the identical USB ID and I had the bad luck of getting the latest revision on both. :(
