Sorry, but I'm more likely to adopt the solution suggested by @eddyb! Something like, Queueing the commit or Commit XXX has been approved by YYY, and parse it as an internal command.

I think this may involve some non trivial changes, so it might be better to handle this myself. Are you really interested to implement this?
