Drives show as disconnected #7

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. mount a drive with win-sshfs
2. use a "find a file or folder" browser (like the "attach a file" link on this
page.
3. look for the drive in the navigation tree (generally at the left side of the
dialog box or in a drop down at the top as shown in the attached screenshots)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The drives show as disconnected even though browsing through them works fine.
The expected output is of course that they don't show as "disconnected".

What version of the product are you using?

win-sshfs: 0.0.1.4
Client OS: Windows 7
Server OS: Ubuntu 11.10
Ssh server: openssh

Please provide any additional information below.
This isn't a high priority issue for me. It just looks like you could use some
more bug-reporters so I'll try to throw together a decent bug report when I
find issue like this. Keep up the good work!

I also have this problem. Doesn't affect usage, but annoying. Would appreciate
it if it can be fixed in next release.

BTW: Thank you for such a wonderful software!

Thanks. Just two questions : Is your operating system 64 bit ?
Are applications showing this problem 32 bit?

I am using 64bit. Unfortunately, I don't have a 32 bit windows install to test
with.

It's ok I actually meant is the application which opens save dialog running in
32 bit compatibility mode(syswow64)?

I'm pretty sure I was using firefox to take those screenshots, so it would have
been 32-bit. When I get back to my computer on Monday, I can see if 64 bit
applications are affected by this issue or not.

with same result. I also tried different settings (also in Win95 mode).

Can't fix it right now but I'm almost sure that installing 32 bid version
dokannp would fix the propblem. To verify this you could dowload it here
http://code.google.com/p/win-sshfs/downloads/detail?name=dokan_np.rar , copy 32
bit version do syswow64 , go to dokan folder and run dokanctl.exe /i n;
