Sxhkd switches layout after connecting a keyboard #317

I use the dvorak layout usually.

If I connect a keyborad into my laptop while it's asleep and then wake it up now sxhkd uses the qwerty layout while all my programs use the dvorak layout. Now the keyboard rate is also reset (in my .xinitrc I have this xset r rate 300 50) but this happens for all programs, so I think something is being reset in general but why would sxhkd stop using dvorak and use qwerty while other programs don't

Although this issue was opened a while ago, I have the same one. I use AZERTY everywhere but suddently sxhkd switched to QWERTY
