Are there plans to provide a service for todos and comments in the new api?

randerson commented 11 years ago

It's not in our near term plans. However, we are working on a different API enhancement project right now. It's too early to say when you'll see it but it should be in the next couple months.

We currently have a project where interacting with todos and comments is fairly important. Will this api enhancement provide some way to interact with these? Alternatively, do you know whether the old api will stay active to accommodate these kind of services?

We don't have anything underway or scheduled for adding to-dos or comments. Not sure what you mean by "the old API". All of our APIs will remain active.

I'm referring to the api whose documentation can be found here: http://developer.batchblue.com/. The big red "API is Deprecated" message seemed ominous. But I'm glad to know there's no plans to take it down.

Thanks

We had folks trying to build apps using our Batchbook Classic APIs for their New Batchbook accounts. What's your account name? If you'd like to email me that data directly, I'd be happy to keep it of the public eye while I check which version your account is on.

I'd like to +1 the ability to at least read comments via the API, if not create. My team has unfortunately used comments extensively in lieu of communications and we need to mash those notes up with our customer service tool.

We can only get at a portion of the data we're putting into Batchbook. Integrations are only becoming more important; not less - please round out the API so we can sufficiently leverage BB across our team.
