Thanks. Good catch. When I wrote that part of the api, primary wasn't added to the models. I've got a note in to the issue tracker to add that functionality.
+1 for this. We've had users run into issues because we don't know which emails to return to them. Being able to specify primary would be helpful.
I'm wrapping the testing for communications via the api. After that I have to do affiliations for contacts. (spouse/child/etc) I'll sneak it in while I'm doing that. It's on my short list now.

Hi all, I hope you've had a chance to use the primary field. I've finally had some slow time and just updated the documentation.
Are there email, phone, or address indicators to indicate which one is the primary ones? It appears in the software for at least companies, there's a method to set one as primary/displayed, but doesn't seem to be anything in the API.
