TODO: Make a new release and upload it to CTAN #10

Are there any plans to release v0.6.0 in the not too distant future? If there is any help I could provide, just give me a shout!

@moewew I don't really have time to maintain this. Would you be willing to take over as maintainer? I've invited you to join the repo.

I'm afraid I don't have time to maintain biblatex-nejm either. (And experience has shown that it would be good if the maintainer were at least somewhat interested in using the package themselves. I don't think I'll ever need or want to use NEJM style. Plus NEJM style is possibly a moving target with requirements changing over time, something I'll probably struggle to keep up with, not being part of the wider medical community myself.)

I'll be happy to be called in for the occasional issue, but taking over maintenance would come with moral responsibility I'm not able to afford for this project.

If you don't find anyone else to maintain the project, you may want to upload the current state of the package to CTAN and mention to CTAN staff and in the release announcement (as well as the CTAN info blurb) that the package is 'unmaintained' now. Then potential users are aware of the state and possible maintainers have an easier time stepping forward to take over. (Something similar was done for https://ctan.org/pkg/marginnote.)
