Host has a property manager - Add Property Manager details

As a Team Lead,
I want hosts to indicate if they are using a property manager on Step 1 and be required to fill out the property manager’s contact details if selected,
so that we can have the necessary information to manage the property and communicate effectively with the property manager.

Context / Background

If the host uses a property manager, they should provide contact information such as the business name, the property manager’s name, phone number, and email address.

Business Rules

• [ ] Hosts must indicate whether they have a property manager or not (it could be a checkbox or a Yes/No question). It's a required field.
• [ ] If host does not have a property manager, they do not need to provide any additional information.
• [ ] If host has a property manager, host needs to be informed that "if they add Property Manager, that person will also be authorized to manage the registration, including changing information."
• [ ] If host has a property manager, they must provide the following information where fields are mandatory:
  • First Name (required)
  • Middle name (optional)
  • Last Name (required)
  • Preferred Name (optional)
  • Phone Number (required)
  • Extension (optional)
  • Fax number (optional)
  • Email address (required)
  • Mailing address (required)
  • Property Management company information including Business Name (required) and Mailing address (required if it's different from the mailing address)
• [ ] Step 4 review page will have the information about whether a host has a property manager and information associated with property manager and their property management company if they host have a property manager.
• [ ] On Host application details page, host will see whether they have a property manager and information associated with property manager and their property management company if they have a property manager.
• [ ] On Examiner application details page, examiners will see whether host have a property manager and information associated with property manager and their property management company if hosts have a property manager.
• [ ] On Host/Examiner application details page, users can differentiate the contact information for whom (host, property manager and secondary contact)
• [ ] Field Validation is in place Field Validation
• [ ] Error Handling: If any required fields are missing or incorrectly formatted, there will be an X on the Property Details Stepper

Story Scenarios

Scenario 1: Host does not use a property manager

• Given the host does not indicate they are using a property manager,
• When they proceed with the form,
• Then they are not prompted to fill out any additional property manager fields, and the form is submitted successfully.

Scenario 2: Host uses a property manager and fills out the required fields

• Given the host is on Step 1 Contact Details page,
• When they indicates they are using a property manager,
• Then the form reveals fields for property manager contact information and property management company information with some mandatory fields.
• And Then hosts can see all the information on Review page and their application details page
• And Then examiners can see host information about their property manager on the application details page

Scenario 3: Host attempts to proceed without filling out the required property manager details

• Given the host has indicated they are using a property manager,
• When a host clicks next or moves to another stepper without filling in one or more of the required fields,
• Then a red x is displayed on the stepper and error message is displayed, and they are prompted to complete the missing or incorrectly formatted fields.

Step 1 (Contact Information) makes sense. Some initial questions:

• Does the property manager become the Primary Contact? What would the host be labelled as instead?(Secondary Contact, Registrant, Person Completing Application, etc.)?
• If the property manager can manage the registration alongside the host, does it mean we need the 'Team Members' management feature in account settings?
• The property manager's invitation / account creation flow and roles need to be built. Does that fit into the MVP?

1. It would be property host (A person who is legally entitled to possession of the property where STR accommodation is provided and acts as the STR operator responsible for arranging the short term rental services.), Supplier Host (Any person who acts as the STR operator, including the property host and any other persons who act on their behalf to arrange the short-term rental services (e.g., host, co-host, property manager) and secondary contact person. If there's a property manager, they will become the primary contact person. Can we have language indicating that, by adding Property manager, registry will treat them as primary contact. Supplier host = registrant. Thanks for bringing this up. In a way, we do need to have them labelled correctly because on the certificate, we need to include Registrant name and property host name (if applicable).

So for this story, it's a host who starts the application. We will have a separate story and stream for property manager starts application on behalf of hosts.
