I just discovered instant.page and it's great. Good catch that you're exempting the logout link.

Any plans to get this module on Drupal.org?

If you want I can publish it without review and make you maintainer. (I have an old d.o. account with this capability)

Do you think people are interested in new Drupal 7 modules?

well, it should have a 8.x/9.x compatible release as well of course. But even without that it's useful to me. I installed it at DXPR.com

If you like I can make this a module hosted on Drupal.org. This way you would be notified if updates appear to the module.

Have you looked at other modules with similar functionality though?

https://www.drupal.org/project/resource_hints (Resource Hints) does DNS prefetch and HTML prefetch for a list of webmaster defined URLs, but hasn't been updated in 4 years.

https://www.drupal.org/project/quicklink (Quicklink) prefetches all URLs in the browser viewport (so that as you scroll, more links get fetched).

https://www.drupal.org/project/fasterweb (FasterWeb Performance) prefetches URLs based on "a service that predicts where users will click".

So none of them do exactly what Instant.page does.
